Avicenna

Avicenna was Islamic philosopher and physician, born in Persia; Arabic name ibn-Sina. His philosophical system was the major influence on the development of scholasticism.

The philosophical foundations of Avicenna's educational view:

1- The human being and the mental faculties

3- The nature of the human being: good or evil?
4- The role of society
5- The soul as the path to knowledge
